Physical Description:
Tall and lanky, Cam stands at 6’2 with lithe muscle. As a soccer goalie, his body is in great shape and he’s rather fit. He likes to do some weight training when he can. Cam has brown curly hair he keeps on the longer side, liking his sides more shorter than the rest. It has a mind of its own and tends to curl more to the right. He usually brushes it by running his fingers through it. He has light brown eyes and a sweet smile. He's a pretty cute kid with a strong jaw and chiseled cheekbones. He is unaware of how attractive he actually is.
-Personality-Description:
Cameron is your typical nice guy, who will help someone out if they need help. He doesn’t have one particular set of friends, but friends from all over. If you actually paid attention, you might find that Cam doesn’t actually have
real friends. He’s a chill enough guy that he'll talk to anyone no matter their social class or where they fall on the High school hierarchy totem pole. He tends to find himself butting in when someone needs help, whether with a bully or just help in general. He has a strong sense of what is right and wrong and will own up to a mistake if he’s made it. He has a protective streak and will defend those he cares about. Cam has a relatively long fuse, but it can get shortened in some instances.
Habits/Hobbies: Likes His guitar lessons with Dr. Hunt, plays guitar, and sings in his room. He likes to practice out by the lake and play. Playing soccer sits somewhere different at lunch every day. Makes an effort to introduce himself to the new kids even if they’re rare.
History:
Cameron’s biological parents were both drug addicts. He was in an out of the foster system for several years, his mom would get clean and then just slide again and again, and he’d go right back in. He had to move around a lot, and it wasn’t until he was about 8 when he came to the Boehm’s. He was rebellious at first, telling them his real mom was going to come to get him one day, but she never did. She’d finally signed away her rights, and the sweet little werewolf pup found himself now a ward of the state. By some miracle, or maybe it was just Cam’s sweet endearing nature, the Boehm’s decided to adopt him. It was the best day of his life, and he never had to worry about moving around and making new friends again.
From a young age, they all knew he could sing, and he used it as his creative outlet. He’s shy however and hasn’t really become open about it aside from his family. When he was in middle school he met Sidney Fletcher and it was prepubescent love at first sight. The two were nearly inseparable and “started dating” or whatever two twelve-year-olds could count as dating. The two were actually together for a long time. Four years in fact. You didn’t see one without the other, and if you asked Cam, he would have said Sidney was end game. Only...She wasn’t. End of sophomore year, Sidney broke it to Cam that she was moving. He already knew about the move and had been already thinking about how they were going to make the relationship work. There was more to it, however. Sidney told Cam she was pregnant, and he was shocked. He did what any normal sixteen-year-old boy would do, and began to panic. How was he going to raise a kid while still being a kid? Only, there was even more to it. According to Sidney, the baby wasn’t his but an older guy from the town she was moving too. She was breaking up with him. “Your too boring and
good for me Cameron.” She’d said. Needless to say, she’d shattered his heart and left him in stitches.
Now that it’s summer, he’s still reeling. Not understanding how Sidney could have done something like that, and wondering if there was anything wrong with him. He thought he loved her, and yet by the sounds of things she’d just used him. And he had to watch her grow bored of him. He’s soul searching now, not knowing what to do with himself now that Sidney is gone. There was a codependency there that he didn’t know existed, and is struggling to make sense of anything and how to do things by himself now. He’s hoping to have a handle on his emotions before school starts back up in the fall.
